Bayview Metals has been in business since 1973. It is a private, family owned and operated business. There is a very low employee turnover, and we have maintained some of the same customers since starting business.
Bayview Metals has 2 locations. The first is a 15,000 sq ft manufacturing facility with approximately 25 employees. The second facility is a 7,000 sq ft. Assembly plant where some light assembly is done on parts after coatings. We also have in house silk screening at this plant, and warehousing. There are approximately 6-10 workers at this facility.
Precision, custom sheet metal parts through the use of CNC Punching, CNC Brake Press Forming, metal fabrication, TIG welding, MIG Welding, Spot Welding, hardware Insertion, riveting, sheet metal design using Solidworks. Finishes such as powder coating, plating, anodizing are applied through qualified vendors according to specifications. Mil specs, RAL #’s, Pantones, etc…
While any sheet metal part is possible, we specialize and have extensive experience in providing custom parts to electronic companies. We have many industrial electronic customers serving industries in: Power Management, Audio Video Distribution, telecommunications, critical infrastructure, mission critical components. We also have customers who may just need some basic brackets, or faceplates, or other custom sheet metal part.
Light assembly (assembling parts together, ground screws, terminal blocks, ground straps, rack ears, etc…) and custom packaging is available. Just in Time stocking and delivery services are offered to customers who would like to take advantage of reduced costs on higher volume manufacturing, but take deliveries based on a schedule instead of one batch. Free Local Delivery is also available.
No, we do not manufacture any of our own parts. All parts are contract manufactured to our customers’ specs. We do not sell standard rack panels or racks “off the shelf”. We also do not manufacture or supply duct work.
We are ISO 9001:2008 certified, and have been certified through ISO since the 1994 standard was in use. Although we are not certified to the AS 9100 standard, we regularly do work for companies that are certified to this standard, and are familiar with their requirements. We also have personnel who have Six Sigma training.
